FAQ's

Which wall mount fits my saxophone? Most stands are designed for a specific instrument or instrument type. On every product page you'll find detailed information about compatibility. As a general guide : the Parker fits alto saxophone, the Brecker fits tenor saxophone, the Baby Brecker fits curved soprano sax, the Sir Harry fits baritone sax, and the Solo fits straight soprano saxophone. Still not sure? Send us a message and we'll help you find the perfect match.

Can I mount the stand on any wall? Our stands can be mounted on virtually any wall — brick, concrete, wood. For mounting on drywall and plasterboard you MUST find a spot that has a stud behind it, so the screws have solid footing. We include screws and plugs with every order. For very old or brittle walls we recommend chemical anchoring, where a hardening substance bonds the plug permanently to the surrounding material. Another option is to first mount a solid wooden plank across the wall and screw the stand into that — this works especially well if you want multiple stands in a row.

How much weight can the stand hold? More than you'd expect. Even a single properly placed screw is strong enough to hold the 5 kg of a baritone saxophone. The three-screw mounting plate distributes the weight evenly across the wall, and the short steel arm creates minimal leverage. We've tested extensively with a weight of 30 kg and never had a stand fail. Since 2009 we never had any incident happening involving one of our wall-mounted stands.

Is it safe to leave my saxophone on the wall permanently? Absolutely — in fact, we think it's way safer than a floor stand. Wall stands eliminate the risk of your instrument being knocked over by people, pets, or children. Your saxophone is held firmly and is always within reach, which also means you'll play more often.

Won't leaving my saxophone out damage it? There are two schools of thought on this. Leaving your horn out means occasional dust exposure and possible pad wear from direct sunlight. But the upside is enormous — your saxophone is always ready to play, which means more practice and more music. Keep it out of direct sunlight and you'll be fine.

Do you ship internationally? Yes — we ship worldwide. We have customers in over 30 countries including the US, UK, Australia, Canada, Japan, and throughout Europe. Shipping costs and delivery times vary by destination. Check our shipping page for current rates and estimated delivery times.

How long does shipping take? For most European countries delivery takes 3-5 business days. For the US, Canada and Australia typically 7-14 business days. Japan and Singapore are usually 10-14 days. We ship from Nijmegen, the Netherlands.

What material are the stands made of? All stands are handcrafted from solid steel in our workshop in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. The finish options include matte black powder coat, bronze, gold and various decorative laser-cut wall plates. The stands are built to last a lifetime — we use the same techniques and materials we've been using since 2009.

How do I mount the stand? Every stand comes with mounting instructions in the box. You'll need a drill, the supplied screws and plugs, and about 15 minutes. Detailed step-by-step instructions for each model are also available on our website. If you run into any issues, just contact us — we're happy to help.

What drill bit size do I need? For most stands a 5 mm drill bit works perfectly with the supplied plugs. For baritone stands we supply 8 mm plugs, and longer screws. If you're drilling into very soft material or using your own plugs, check the plug diameter and start with a smaller drill bit.

Can I order a custom stand? Yes — customization is something we love. We can adjust the color or finish, add a laser-cut name or word to the wall plate, create a stand for an unusual instrument, or build a completely custom design. Contact us with your idea and we'll discuss what's possible and at what price.

Do you make stands for instruments other than saxophone? Yes. We also make wall mounts for clarinet, bass clarinet, flute, trumpet, cornet, trombone, French horn, and flugelhorn. Check our full collection on the website — if you don't see your instrument listed, contact us and we may be able to make something for you.

What finish options are available? Our standard finish is matte black powder coat. We also offer various RAL powder coat colors including bronze and pearl gold. Decorative laser-cut wall plates are available in several designs including the Samba and Aztec, and more to come.

How do I know which model to choose? The main difference between models is the design of the wall plate and the type of instrument support. The Parker is our classic minimalist model, the Brecker as well, this has a wider bell support for larger instruments, and the decorative models like the Samba and Aztec add a visual element to your wall. Visit our product pages for detailed photos and descriptions, or contact us for personal advice.

What is your return policy? We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. The stand must be unused and in its original condition. Return shipping costs are at the buyer's expense unless the item arrived damaged or defective. Contact us first before sending anything back.

My stand arrived damaged — what do I do? Contact us immediately with photos of the damage. We'll arrange a replacement or refund as quickly as possible. This rarely happens but when it does we sort it out without hassle.

Do you offer a warranty? Yes. Our stands are built to last and we stand behind our craftsmanship. If anything breaks or fails under normal use, contact us and we'll make it right.
